Managing and Understanding Data in Libraries workshop at #pm9york

At the 9th Northumbria Conference on Performance Measurement in Libraries at the University of York, Angela Conyers from Evidence Base was invited to join a panel discussion hosted by the Managing and Understanding Data in Libraries (MUDL) group.

Angela was joined by Dave Pattern, Claire Creaser, Carol Tenopir, and Ann Davies, all of whom were asked questions suggested by members of the group. Topics discussed included reasons for analysing data in libraries, how we should collect it and who should be responsible, as well as more specific information about projects such as the Evidence Base e-measures project and the University of Huddersfield’s Library Impact Data Project.

A full transcript of the discussion is now available on the MUDL wiki.
